“Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognise My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the Fount of My mercy; let them profit by the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them.”
(‘Divine Mercy In My Soul’: Diary of Saint Faustina, para.848)
Most Merciful Jesus, we adore Your unfathomable mercy, poured out in such an explicit and tangible manner throughout this Holy Year of Mercy. In this year, so many souls have profited by the Blood and Water gushing forth from the Fount of Your mercy – the Sacraments of Confession and Communion, especially. Merciful Lord, thank You for such an abundance of graces and mercy given to souls, to the Church and to the world from the depths of Your limitless mercy.
Lord, You remind us that these are days of mercy, and that after these will come the days of justice.
In Your compassion, look kindly upon the confidence we place in Your divine mercy – that same mercy which we beseech of You for ourselves and for all souls, especially for sinners, for the dying and for the Holy Should, together with all Your Church and the entire world. All, so in need of our mercy, O Lord.
As the days of justice approach, shelter us, O Lord, in the shadow of Your mercy, that Your divine justice may not touch us. Keep us trusting in You, O holy One of God the Most High.
Jesus, we TRUST in You.
Our Lady, Mother of Mercy, pray for us.
